A graduate of Chapman Film School and Chapman Law School, Lara has been an active licensed real estate broker for over ten years and an attorney since 2002. Having lived on the rim of the Riviera Country Club golf course (both Napoli Drive and La Mesa Drive), she offers an insider’s knowledge of the highly competitive Los Angeles Westside real estate market. Her connections within the community and throughout the brokerage industry give Lara an inside track on “off market” pocket listings and opportunities that benefit both buyers and sellers in what is one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country. Over $25 Million in recent transactions place her among the top 1% of agents in the county.
Lara has a special interest in working with long time owners of Westside estate properties, especially those considering, leasing, swaps, development, 1031 and other tax preferred sales and exchanges. For those sellers who desire to turn their long time residence into a rental and then 1031 exchange it, Lara will work closely with estate planning and tax lawyers to make sure these sorts of exchanges are accomplished in line with the clients’ CPA and the client’s lawyer’s objectives.
Lara also helps qualified home buyers find their dream home, or development site, and strives to maximize the long term value and enjoyment of their real estate investments and objectives with a true long term view that is unique in the industry. These days, over 1/3 of Westside properties never hit the MLS or they sell on the first day. Entering the Westside market is extremely competitive- and buyers need a dedicated agent with the inside track on the listed and non-listed properties, the ability to analyze values for clients, and the ability to move quickly.
